Short version: GPT Delagger processes ChatGPT page structure locally so it can hide selected interface elements. It does not record, retain, transmit, sell, or share conversation content or browsing activity.

What the extension accesses

GPT Delagger runs only on chatgpt.com and the legacy chat.openai.com hostname. On those pages, it examines the page’s document structure and visible interface markers to identify old conversation turns, tool-call embeds, and elements selected through Zap mode. This processing occurs entirely in your browser.

What the extension stores

The extension uses Chrome’s storage permission to save and sync:

whether each optimization is enabled;
the number of recent turns you choose to keep visible; and
custom CSS selectors you create with Zap mode.

It does not store prompts, responses, account information, page URLs, or conversation content. Custom selectors are user-authored settings and can be removed from the extension popup.

Collection, transmission, and sharing

GPT Delagger has no analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, external API calls, or remote code. The extension does not send data to the developer or to third parties. No user data is sold or shared. No human can read data through the extension because the developer receives none.

Permissions

storage is the only Chrome API permission requested. Site access is restricted to ChatGPT because the extension’s single purpose is to reduce browser rendering work in long ChatGPT conversations. It does not run on unrelated websites.

Removing stored settings

Delete custom rules in the popup, reset individual controls, or uninstall the extension to remove its local settings. Chrome may sync settings through your browser profile according to your Chrome Sync configuration.

Changes and contact

Material changes to this policy will be published here and recorded in the project repository. For privacy questions, open a public issue that contains no personal information. For a security issue involving sensitive data, use GitHub private vulnerability reporting.

Limited use

GPT Delagger’s use of information is limited to providing its disclosed, user-facing single purpose. It does not use or transfer information for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any unrelated purpose.
